CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION
The Loveladies Property Owners Association was incoporated in 1951. The following is a copy of the original document.
It is interesting to note that the section we now call Loveladies was known as Long Beach Park fifty-three years ago!

CERTIFICATE OF INCORPOATION
OF THE
LOVELADIES PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
Pursuant to Title 15 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey, we the undersigned associate ourselves into a corporation not for pecuniary profit as follows:
First:…..The name or title by which this corporation shall be known is:
LOVELADIES PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
Second:…Purpose:
(1) To preserve the existing character of that section of Long Beach Township lying between the Borough of Barnegat Light and the Borough of Harvey Cedars on Long Beach Island, New Jersey, known as Long Beach Park;
(2) To do all things to preserve the natural beauty of this section;
(3) To recommend to the governing body of the Township of Long Beach that the existing ordinances be amended to insure the continuance of the above and to prevent the further expansion of commercial enterprises and to urge said governing body to do all things that will contribute to the safety and comfort of all property owners in this section;
(4) To purchase, lease, mortgage and sell lands and appurtenances situate in this section;
(5) And to do any and all things necessary and incidental to carry out and effect the specific purposes herein set forth;
Third:….Place of Operation.
The place of operation of the corporation shall be the Long Beach Park section of Long Beach Township, New Jersey, with headquarters or Post office address at Harvey Cedars, New Jersey. The registered agent upon whom process may be served is Elmer B. Anderson, 418 High Street, Burlington, N.J.
Fourth:…The trustees for the first year are as follows:
(1) Walter K. Lyon, Harvey Cedars, New Jersey
(2) Elmer B. Anderson, 418 High Street, Burlington, New Jersey
(3) Beryl Price, 1911 Pine Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
(4) Wilbur M. Antel, 222 Randolph Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey
(5) Philip C. Burham, 312 Conestoga Road, Wayne, Pennsylvania
